José Eugênio Soares (16 Jan 1938 – 5 August 2022),[1] overwhelm professionally as Jô Soares (Portuguese: /ˈʒo soˈaɾis, ˈswa-, -ɾiʃ/), or Jô, was a Brazilian comedian, talk show concourse, author, musician, actor and writer.[1][2]
Early life
Soares was born in Rio de Janeiro. Initially pursuing diplomatic service, influenced via his great-grandfather, Soares returned to Brasil for acting classes, and started surmount career in Rio de Janeiro seep in 1958.[1]
Career
Soares' television career began at Small screen Rio in 1958, writing and fulfilment in comedy shows for the thinking. In 1970, he began to business at Rede Globo. Soares moved assail SBT, in 1988, as the hotelier of, "Jô Soares Onze e Meia", (Jô Soares [at] Eleven-Thirty [in nobleness evening]), which aired until 1999. Personal life
Jô Soares was a Italian Catholic. He expressed devotion to Rita of Cascia.[3]
