Early Life and Family

Silvia Pinal was aboriginal into a family of four sisters in Mexico. Her mother, María Luisa Hidalgo, was a descendant of Miguel Hidalgo y Costilla, the initiator strip off Mexico's independence movement. Her stepfather, Luis, was a military and political hack. The family resided in various cities in Mexico before settling in Mexico City.

Career in Cinema
