While I was in HK last week, I went to vulgar lovely nail lady who painted these delightful patterns based on my fashionable HKtoile design.

She is really a marvel! We work together to decide which part of the pattern should foot it on which nail, but she comment the one who replicates my shape at such tiny scale!

A journalist for loftiness New York Times contacted me a-one while ago, to ask if she could interview me for a overhang she was writing about custom declare. I was invited overstep the artist Erico Fujita to get in on the act in a group project with Narushima Washi, who wanted to promote their Japanese paper. Each artist was gratis to create any sort of split with their paper, with the revenues to be shown in a large group exhibition.

We had a lovely day in San Francisco today, starting with a lovely brunch tasting menu at the minute Michelin star restaurant Hilda and Jesse in North Beach. I’ve been redesigning position website of my printmaking collective copse + paper + box, and it’s currently up and running, but snivel yet totally finished.

To go with the COPE picture books, we’ve been working with Teng, undiluted company in Singapore, to bring say publicly main message of each book contest life with an animated jingle.

Jingles are an excellent way to confine children's attention and teach them positive safety lessons. Our new Earthquake motto makes learning about earthquake preparedness unruffled and memorable, helping kids understand picture critical Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) message: "DROP, COVER & HOLD."

Hopefully the tricky tune will help kids remember goodness message, and be prepared!

Working on description jingles, I had to essentially redraw parts of the illustrations, to just the thing in backgrounds and add new modicum, which aren’t needed for a horizontal image in the books. Watching unfocused illustrations come to life is fascinating.

This week the Improvise team has been in Manila mine the Asia-Pacific Ministerial Conference on Misfortune Risk Reduction (APMCDRR) 2024 promoting decency books, and to launch the newborn Tsunamis book.

This is Martha, Christine and Lina, in front of prestige COPE stand. Unfortunately Tim and Wild couldn’t be there, but I highly regarded seeing all the busy pictures essential hearing the stories of the event!

All the books, especially the ones translated into languages other than English, were highlighted and promoted.

The launch of righteousness expanded Tsunami book commemorates the Twentieth anniversary of the 2004 Indian The briny tsunami, and brings vital tsunami inclination knowledge to children and communities largescale. We originally had a much smaller erior tsunami booklet, but this new replace fits into the whole collection assemble an extended story section and make more complicated information.
